An Artisan Editorial in the Gardens of Middleton Place

For KATHERINE & TYLER PHOTO, the vision behind every editorial they create is to bring in elements that tell a story. In this case, the artisan, garden inspiration meant curating components that represent art in its most natural form. Artisan is a latin word from French in the mid 16th century that meant making things (art) from hand. Whether that be food, furniture, or clothing. To incorporate this idea into a wedding editorial, they brought in natural elements to honour that era.

To accomplish this design, together with wedding planner INTRIGUE EVENTS they centered the table decor around ceramic (handmade-like) plates from CURATED EVENTS and bread to accent the table. "The feeling one gets sitting at this head table would be one of nostalgia. To further bring other elements of inspiration into our editorial, we took an antique wooden ladder and transformed it into an escort display with lush, whimsical floral arrangements by VIOLET ROSE FLORAL and custom seed packet escort cards by ELEPHANT LIMBO. The idea behind this is to take something old and left for dust, and showcase how beautiful, artisan pieces can be used again with the touch of love."
