Set within the striking architecture of Miami’s NEW WORLD CENTER, this celebration unfolded as a refined blend of modern design and warm, garden-inspired romance. Captured by CHRISTOPHE SERRANO, with planning by CCC EVENT PLANNING and florals by INES NAFTALI STUDIO, the day moved from sacred ceremony to rooftop sunset cocktails and an immersive reception — each space offering a distinct yet beautifully connected experience.
How They Met
They met in San Francisco through mutual friends at a party, both living there after college before eventually building their life together in New York. What began as a chance meeting quickly became something lasting, carrying them from coast to coast.

The Proposal
While living in New York, they flew back to California to celebrate Easter with Leo’s family in Pebble Beach and Carmel. The proposal came as a complete surprise. Leo suggested a quiet moment at a scenic overlook above the water, just the two of them. What she didn’t know was that both families had secretly travelled in for the occasion — waiting to surprise them at dinner later that evening. Intimate, emotional, and quietly cinematic, it was a moment that perfectly reflected the way they love.
A Venue That Felt Creative and Alive
The NEW WORLD CENTER immediately stood out for its sense of possibility. With a sculptural indoor space that could be transformed and a rooftop garden overlooking Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, the venue offered something distinctly “Miami” while still feeling elevated and personal. The panoramic rooftop views, lush plantings, and the glow of SoundScape Park below created a setting that felt chic, cinematic, and alive with the city’s energy — an inspiring backdrop for a celebration designed to feel out of the box yet timeless.
Florals That Warmed the Space
Florals by INES NAFTALI STUDIO softened the modern architecture with a palette of green and white, accented with gentle hints of yellow. At St. Patrick’s Church in Miami Beach, trees were incorporated to bring warmth and organic texture to the bright, white space. The garden-inspired palette carried through to the reception, lending intimacy and softness to the modern venue.

Getting Ready with Heart
The morning unfolded at the golf club in Miami Beach, where the bride got ready alongside her bridesmaids and mother. Though her older sister couldn’t be there after giving birth three weeks early, she sent a video from the hospital — baby in her arms — sharing her wedding speech. It was an emotional, deeply meaningful moment to begin the day, grounding the celebration in family and love.
Fashion with Sentiment
The bride wore a romantic gown by MONIQUE LHUILLIER, paired with JIMMY CHOO heels and her mother’s bracelet — a simple but powerful sentimental touch. The look felt classic and elegant, beautifully suited to both the sacred ceremony and the contemporary reception setting.

As the sun dipped, a surprise saxophonist filled the air with music, setting a celebratory tone while guests mingled over miniature bites and sunset light.

A Ceremony Filled with Music
The ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church was defined by beautiful music, creating a reverent, emotional atmosphere as the couple exchanged vows. The absence of a first look meant the moment they saw each other at the altar carried even more weight — quiet, meaningful, and full of presence.
Sunset Cocktails Above the City
Cocktail hour unfolded on the New World Center’s rooftop garden, where guests were treated to sweeping views across Miami Beach, from Biscayne Bay to the Atlantic Ocean. As the sun dipped, a surprise saxophonist filled the air with music, setting a celebratory tone while guests mingled over miniature bites and sunset light. Surrounded by tropical plantings and city views, the rooftop felt both elevated and relaxed — a distinctly Miami moment.

A Reception That Took Their Breath Away
Walking into the reception space, the couple’s jaws dropped. CCC EVENT PLANNING transformed the interior into a warm, intimate setting with a subtle garden-party feel layered into the modern architecture. Half band, half DJ, the entertainment carried the energy effortlessly from dinner into dancing, creating a night that felt equal parts elegant and alive.
Two Honeymoons, One Love Story
They began with a mini-moon in the British Virgin Islands right after the wedding, followed by a full honeymoon in Italy two months later — a beautiful balance of immediate celebration and slow, meaningful travel.
This NEW WORLD CENTER celebration is a reminder that modern venues can feel deeply intimate when layered with warmth, music, and thoughtful design. Set against Miami’s skyline and framed by rooftop gardens and sunset light, the day unfolded with quiet emotion, joyful surprises, and a sense of creative freedom that made the celebration feel entirely their own.
