With its Tudor-inspired architecture, rich wood-panelled interiors and expansive grounds, ERIN ESTATE offered a natural starting point. Rather than recreate an English wedding in Canada, the creative team drew upon the qualities that make the Cotswolds so appealing: a connection to the landscape, a sense of history and an effortless approach to beauty.
INSPIRED BY THE LANDSCAPE
A restrained palette of ivory, soft white and layered greens allows the natural surroundings to play an integral role in the design. Beneath a canopy of towering pines, an intimate reception table feels almost as though it has always belonged there. Delicately patterned linens are layered with warm wood tones, candlelight and generous white florals by DYNASTY EVENTS & FLORALS, creating a setting that feels refined without being overly styled.
There is a lovely looseness to the design. Instead of competing with the landscape, each element works alongside it, allowing the changing textures and tones of the estate to provide much of the decoration.
ROMANTIC FASHION WITH A MODERN EDGE
The bridal fashion follows the same balance between old and new. Romantic lace and a sweeping veil evoke a sense of tradition, while more playful editorial moments prevent the imagery from becoming overly formal. Classic tailoring provides a timeless counterpoint, allowing the couple to feel completely at home within both the estate’s traditional interiors and its more relaxed outdoor spaces.

FROM COUNTRY HOUSE TO WOODLAND
ERIN ESTATE itself becomes an important character as the editorial unfolds. Richly panelled rooms and traditional architectural details transition into manicured lawns, woodland paths and the quiet waters surrounding the property. Moving between these different environments gives the story a sense of discovery, much like spending a weekend at an old English country house.
Perhaps the most charming scene takes place on the water. A simple rowboat offers an unexpected moment of whimsy, its unhurried romance perfectly capturing the countryside spirit behind the editorial.
