The florals in this shoot by Jessica Scott from J Bird Photography have me yearning for spring! I mean that floral crown ééò well it’s more of a floral hat ééò is so gorgeous!! Jessica shares their inspiration behind the shootééò ééòThe inspiration for the session started with a love for all things Spring. Nothing says Spring like bright colors and lots (I mean LOTS) of flowers. The florist (Bristol Lane Florals) and I knew that we wanted an environment that would be fresh and clean and allow for some great splashes of color throughout. From the bold colors of the centerpiece against the white draped table cloth, to the floral hoops on the white wall and the amazing, fuchsia floral shawl against the white dress, this session turned out better than we could have imagined. Oh and let’s not forget the amazing floral hat that is the reason why we have come to call this the “Spring Princess” session. With simple yet elegant paper products by Magnolia Tree Paperie, gorgeous hair and makeup by Makenzi Laine, and styling by Jill Watson, the session was flawless. The wedding venue, Mercury Hall, was a perfect fit for our fresh, clean feel with it’s white walls and simple atmosphere. I also chose to photograph all this gorgeousness on film in hopes of capturing it’s true beauty in a way that only film can. When I look through these images, I can’t help but be inspired by the amazing floral creations, the bright colors, and the beautiful elegance of it all.ééò
