The Elephant Restaurant in Baltimore is a sophisticated space, reminiscent of a romantic Parisian apartment, and similarly filled with history and KATE IGNATOWSKI has captured it in the most exquisite manner in this elegant, minimalist shoot. Built in the 1850s this expansive Baltimore row home was originally a private residence before being transformed into a retail space, and later, a restaurant, over 100 years after the building's construction. Also featuring in Issue 18 of Magnolia Rouge Magazine, this beauty was styled by the amazing EAST MADE EVENT COMPANY.
Kate says, "This particular light-filled room is not an especially large space but encompasses both embellished details in its refined, filigree millwork, and simplicity in the bright windows and white walls. Juxtaposing minimal design elements like our bride's banana bun and clean white table linens with more delicate features like the lace sleeves on the ALEXANDRA GRECCO gown and floral calligraphy sketches by SILVER FOX CALLIGRAPHY, infused elegant style into clean design. Just a few blocks away, the grand facade of the Peabody Institute of Music provided a magnificent backdrop as the sun set.
