As a husband and wife team, Thomas and I are driven by capturing real moments and documenting love stories in an organic way. Some of our favourite aspects of our job are hearing unique stories, meeting amazing people and traveling to new places with our couples. We’re inspired by color, authenticity and adventure. After shooting more than 100 weddings, I still jump out of bed every morning excited to respond to inquiries, edit photos, and draft wedding day timelines. There are so many things I love about capturing the details of your special day, but most of all, I love getting to know the two of you.

Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… on a perfect Sunday off we would spend the morning curled up in our cozy bed, sipping a latte, with our noses in a novel and our dogs curled on our feet. In the afternoon we would get out and probably hike somewhere in Marin - camera in hand and pups by our side. For dinner, we would try a new local spot that is off the beaten path. Before bed, we might play a cooperative board game and finish the night with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… so many favourites! Thomas and I love to travel - we have a map above our couch and keep track of all of our destinations. If I had to pick one I would say Big Sur. Back when we were living in Florida, we flew to California the week after we got engaged. We were both on cloud nine! Seeing those breathtaking landscapes with my husband-to-be is something I will never forget.

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… Greece has been on my bucket list for more than a decade! We’ll make it happen some day!

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… I truly love the couples that we’ve met. We’ve made some lifelong friends and travel buddies through photography. I feel so incredibly grateful that our lives have been touched by so many couples. That was definitely an unexpected perk!

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE/DO… I think working for a food magazine would be so fun! Although… I’m not much of a chef.

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… hire your vendors and trust them. Also, invest in your relationships with them! I feel like vendors put in a little extra effort when they feel valued beyond just being a “vendor.”

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… I can drive in any direction and find a new beautiful spot. There is so much diversity in northern California! Mountains, water, lakes, city, snow, sun - it is a beautiful place to be and I’m thankful we can now call it home!

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… honestly, the bay area is hard to beat! I think it would be fun to live in Europe for a few years - but I believe we would return to California in the long term.

THE PETS I OWN ARE… we have two dogs! Oliver, a feisty westie, and Canon, a loving mini goldendoodle.
