The Bridal Press

Stationery

It seems lately, the pause evoked by a beautifully curated piece of mail is rare—the happy gift, finding a lovely wedding invitation peeking out of the mailbox amongst the pile of bills and junk mail. Our passion is the intentional and thoughtful process of creating small works of fine art that become the prologue to one of the happiest days of a couple’s life.

Our couture stationery boutique, The Bridal Press, specialises in setting a luxury tone for weddings and events all over North America and Europe. Invitations, save the date cards, reception decor, thank you cards and everything in between, with beautiful, thoughtful detail—we help clients celebrate beautifully with timeless, intentional design.

With pride in our methods and materials—century-old letterpresses that create timeless and tactile print impressions, artfully sourced papers and hand-dyed silk ribbon, punctuated with hand-poured and stamped wax seals—we honour the tiny details that set the tone and create excited anticipation for a magnificent event. An heirloom that your guests are excited to receive—your wedding invitation is the pride of The Bridal Press.

As a design professional for over two decades, Lynn created The Bridal Press in 2014. Her transition over the years from a successful corporate marketing design career to one in luxury weddings and events came naturally. She brings a refined eye that comes from a long-time love of travel, the study of aesthetics around the world, and a passion for letterpress, typography, artisan printing processes and beautiful, unique papers.

We would love to help you create some heirloom paperie for your wedding too. Give us a call or email.

Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT... playing golf with my husband and kids.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS... zip lining in the Costa Rican rainforest.

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS... New Zealand.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS... getting to see the look on my client's faces when they see their completed invitations.

IF I DIDN'T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE... my husband is an archaeologist, and his work fascinates me. But I'm not big on the tedium of actually digging and cataloging. I think a fun archaeology-adjacent job would be perhaps a museum curator. I think curating for the Getty Villa would be a dream.

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE... to always communicate and truly appreciate one another. True love is rare. When you've got the real thing, it's priceless.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE... I love the beach and nearby museums and theatres - I'm a huge musical nerd.

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE... if not here, maybe Hawaii.

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS... The Devil wears Prada. Best screenplay ever. And Stanley Tucci's character... ahhh, I want to be his best friend.

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I'VE EVER EATEN WAS... any meal we had when we visited my grandparents in Southern Illinois. All my aunts and uncles and cousins were there, and it was loud and crazy and so much fun. I remember my grandma's fried okra and biscuits as fondly as a big warm hug.

THE PETS I OWN ARE... our crazy dog, a little Yorkeranian named Mayzie and a turtle named Squirtle.
