Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… out and about at a café people watching and looking for inspiration. 

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… in Iceland. We saw wild Icelandic horses on the side of the road and and were able to run through the fields with them. 

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… Sweden, I love Nordic cuisine and Scandinavian designs.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… the people. It's so great to be surrounded by others who constantly look to grow and inspire. 

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE… running a different small business, maybe a little café or bed and breakfast.

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE…be really intentional.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… I’m close to my family, and Los Angeles has such good food and culture. It keeps me grounded. 

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… I would stay in LA. I'm not sure if there is anywhere else in the world where you can go from a five-star fine-dining meal to a taco truck in less than 100 feet. There's nothing like it. 

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? Meet the Robinsons by Disney.

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… Kato, a little place in Los Angeles that got a Michelin last year. The Chef is a Taiwanese American like myself and the menu has so many nostalgic flavors I grew up eating.

THE PETS I OWN ARE… two rescues. Seobie is a maltipoo, she was rescued in 2010 and is turning 13 in April. Melo is our newest baby, we rescued him last year from the Korean Meat Trade. He’s a shiba mix and an all-around big baby.
