IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… First and foremost, Sunday service with the family, followed by hiking or surfing at the beach(which consists of the kids surfing and the parents trying to surf)
MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… A family trip to Spain. We rented a car, stayed on the Mediterranean & took day trips everywhere. I loved the architecture, olive groves, music, dancing, food, and sangria. I particularly loved the Alhambra castle in Granada.
THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… Can I just pretend that Europe is a country? Because then I could say Europe! I’m sure my husband and kids would love it. We would explore every nook and cranny from Portugal to Russia and everything in between, making sure to visit as many museums and art galleries that we possibly could!
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS…Ahhh, this is tough because I love so many aspects of my job! I think it’s the privilege of documenting such a momentous occasion in a couple's lives.
IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE… An Archeologist! I absolutely love history and the thrill of excavating an ancient city would be so rewarding! Then, to piece together the evidence of how people use to live would be incredibly fascinating!
IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE…Your wedding is going to fly by, so just remember to take a breath, relax and enjoy the moments.
I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… It’s New Zealand.
IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… I can’t pick a place. This world is just so beautiful and truly special. I have lived in Australia, Japan, the United States & now I’m back home in New Zealand. I hope to continue to live in other places but I already feel so blessed to have had the experience of calling so many different countries home.
MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? I have a husband and 3 boys, so know way too much about the Marvel Universe! Somehow, my psyche is now concerned about whether or not these fictional superheroes (they aren’t real right?) will prevail and keep evil at bay. Seriously though, I don’t really watch many movies now, but I do love Turkish period television! I'm totally obsessed with Calikusu & Magnificent Century.
MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… We had just moved to Tokyo, Japan, and my husband's friend took us out to a restaurant called Gyu Kaku. It was the beginning of an incredible four years in Japan and our love affair with Japanese cuisine.
THE PETS I OWN ARE… I’m really untrendy and currently don't own a pet. I have a husband and 3 kids who get all my love.
