Hello, I’m Julie Chef, a wedding photographer based in the Champagne region of France. I create images that blend documentary and editorial styles, with a particular focus on genuine emotions, light, and gestures. My work lies at the intersection of the moment and intention: I capture spontaneous experiences while crafting powerful, graphic, and timeless images.

I have an instinctive approach to photography: I observe a great deal, speak little, and let moments unfold naturally. Then, when necessary, I gently intervene to guide the photographer, highlighting a detail, a pose, or an atmosphere. My goal is to create images that breathe, elegant and sensitive photographs where you feel more than you look. A blend of poetic realism, a confident editorial approach, and raw emotion.

My work has a contemporary aesthetic: luminous, natural, and structured images, yet always warm and human. I strive to capture lasting memories, not just beautiful ones, but memories imbued with meaning. Based in Champagne, I travel throughout France, with a particular fondness for Provence and the French Riviera, but I also gladly travel abroad to tell stories that move me.
