This enchanting Provence elopement inspiration by LUDOVIC FILM PHOTOGRAPHER has us dreaming of wandering amidst the lavender fields in the South of France, meandering little cobblestone lanes in small villages, buying fresh bread from the local boulangerie and all those fun things that come with exploring this part of the world. We can't imagine a more romantic spot to elope to! Working with WEP IN PROVENCE the shoot tells the story of a Russian princess meeting a French gentleman. Take a seat and get swept up in this beautiful tale of this real couple who had to postpone their celebration due to Covid.

"Dalida and Guillaume are a beautiful couple who despite the global pandemic. decided to celebrate their love in Provence. Faced with the challenges that this year has enforced, they have overcome all obstacles and proved that, in spite of the absence of their family and friends, celebrating their love and commitment would be their priority. They had planned to hold a wedding for a hundred guests who were coming from all around the world. A religious ceremony in the church of Bonnieux followed by an elegant cocktail and dinner in the superb Chateau du Martinay in Carpentras. However a global pandemic hit and all their plans had to pivot!

After long discussions with their families, relatives and friends, they weighed the pros and cons, they finally decided, with the support of their loved ones, that love would be stronger. They were eager to celebrate their love and no longer wished to wait. Dalida accompanied by Stephanie, her wedding planner, had the idea of transforming this wedding into a beautiful private escape in the South of France, with a couple of close friends to enjoy the sweetness of Provence at the beginning of summer, running away to our beautiful region.

Over two magnificent days, with absolutely stunning weather, and the lavender fields in full flower the scene was set for a sweet and intimate ceremony in the sumptuous cypress alley followed by a road trip in a classic vintage car. Along the roads of Provence, LUDOVIC was able to photograph them in the heart of the Luberon, from Gordes to Menerbes, through the unforgettable landscapes of the Vaucluse. This was followed by a romantic escape in the fields of olive trees and lavender, at sunset, to finish the day around a table delicately decorated by FLOWERS BY CÉLINE. The talented chef of the CHATEAU MARTINAY made them discover his fine gastronomic provençal cuisine, completed by a note of sweetness with the delicate piece of art of MADE IN CAKE."

If this doesn't convince you that eloping in the South of France is the best idea ever, then nothing will!
