Tulum, Mexico is definitely on my travel list and these beautiful images by P. THIEN PHOTOGRAPHY have bumped it up a notch or two on that list. Thien shares with us, "My partner and I decided to "beat the winter blues" by taking a lovely trip to Tulum. We stayed at an Air BnB in the centre of town, La Casa de los Azulejos, and it was perfect for couples. The area was quiet, only a ten minute walk to the beach and very close to Avenida Tulum where there are cafes, art galleries, and shopping. Azafran Cafe and La Coqueta were our favourite places to have breakfast and dinner. After spending a few days exploring the city, we ventured out. The first thing we did was charter a catamaran, through Mexico Sol Tour. We sailed the turquoise waters of Quintana Roo, snorkelled, and stopped at Playa Paraiso to bask in the sun and enjoy one of most beautiful beaches in the world. During our explorations we visited a few awe inspiring historical sites; the Ruins of Tulum, Chichén Itzá a New Seven Wonders of the World, and Cenote Ik Kil. Overall, taking a week long trip to Tulum Mexico was one of the best decisions my partner and I ever made."
