The beautiful MARBELLA COUNTRY CLUB, located in San Juan Capistrano, California was the home for this whimsical yet sophisticated wedding inspiration. Planned & styled by Southern California wedding planners H & L LOVELY CREATIONS, it features a colour palette of soft and muted yellow tones throughout - a colour that in our opinion is way under-used when it comes to wedding style!
Gorgeous blooms created by WILLOW GARDEN FLORAL infuse a lot of romance to the vision that Lorie from H & L LOVELY CREATIONS had and have been beautifully captured by LOVELY LIGHT IMAGERY. Initially inspired by the humble pear, it is used throughout the table decor and on the stationery by CALLIGRAPHY BY MICHELLE T in the form of a watercolour illustration.
With mini weddings being the new trend lately, the team wanted to give brides a different perspective of what "mini" can represent. Including curated and delicate small details in the tablescape was important, therefore, individually hand-painted mini cakes by LILA CAKE SHOP with different styles were placed at each seat to welcome the guests. Specialty cocktails by MIA'S MARTINI, mini charcuterie boards by HOLIDAY HOSTESS, and small pear-shaped handcrafted cookies by SO EN COOKIES were the main items at the welcome bar.
Lorie shares with us, "For the ceremony, a floating semi-circle of garden roses, ranunculus, dahlias, English cabbage roses, pink dogwood, queen Anne, touches of larkspur among other blooms was perfectly designed for the bride and groom to stand inside of it, representing the intimacy of their celebration. To add to the romantic nature of the day, a violinist of TWO TOWNS ENTERTAINMENT serenaded the couple the entire time.
The always beautiful BELLA BELLE SHOES in combination with the stunning applique all over the bridal gown by AMANDA JAMES BRIDAL had everyone swooning over it and the FRIAR TUX ivory suit casually worn by the groom completed the whimsical look. The bride was dolled up by the talented PATRICIA CASTRO MAKEUP and HALEY REED Hair Stylist."
