Vintage Wedding Inspiration with bold fall florals

I have to admit as I sit here in the sticky humid heat of February in Auckland (New Zealand) I'm very much looking forward to the cooler crisp days of Autumn and the colours in this beautiful editorial by SHINING LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY have me even more excited for my favourite season. 

LOVELY LEAVES WEDDINGS created the vibrant florals you see below. These complete with the most incredible orange and yellow dahlias and a beautiful lace gown by Australian wedding dress designer MADE WITH LOVE BRIDAL have me dreaming of a wedding do over! 

Photographer Ashley shares with us, "I've always been inspired by the beautiful historic grounds at Shaker Village. This is my "happy place" to roam. It's so quiet, peaceful, and the epitome of Kentucky beauty. Surrounding the old preserved town are thousands of acres of rolling green hills, stone pathways leading to various doorsteps, and hand stacked stone fences that have remained standing for hundreds of years. 

My favourite season in this sweet state has always been the fall. The vibrant orange and yellow leaves that line our horse farms are breathtaking. Giselle and I decided to take those beautiful fall colours and bring them to life through bold floral pops! We partnered with a nearby dahlia farm to create large statement centerpieces for the ultimate autumn table inspiration. 

The gown by Made With Love Bridal had the most amazing crochet lace detail. The open back cut on the dress made for the perfect blend of modern and vintage, complimenting the details and design concepts of the shoot."
