What's not to love about this stunning Umbrian wedding captured by Anna Ambrosi for BIANCO PHOTOGRAPHY? Held at the stunning ABBAZIA SAN PIETRO IN VALLE it was planned by VIVIANA TARANTINO. A medieval abbey nestled up in the Umbrian mountains, it is surrounded by woods and has a small 8th Century church, which is incredibly beautiful and a magical spot in which to celebrate a wedding. The exquisite reception design will have you hooked in no time!

Viviana tells us, "Alessandra and Daniele hired me a year ago to plan and style their wedding, and I fulfilled more than one dream with this project. They gave my team and I the chance to be creative with a super chic and unusual colour palette. We used mustard, white, grey and a touch of black for some details. The style was simply charming. Alessandra, our bride, had the most jaw-dropping wedding lace dress I have ever seen. It was tailor-made by ANNA FUCA ATELIER and had a touch of vintage combined with a classic look. To complete her perfect style was the expert hand of MANOLA SPAZIANIAZIANI, make-up artist.

This wedding also gave me the chance to work once again in one of the most beautiful venues I've ever worked in, the Abbey of SAN PIETRO IN VALLE: a slice of heaven in the heart of Umbria, one of my favourite places on earth. We worked on a design that had to be respectful of the venue and balanced with the eclectic and modern personalities of the bride and groom. We used flowers, fruit and foliage, to decorate the ceremony space and the table setting, with the help of NINA E I FIORI. We also used lots of candles to create intimate lighting, and antique pieces to give charm to the tables that we set up in the cloister. We wanted to do something special and leave the guests speechless, so we added some chandeliers with a bit of greenery, in line with the organic style we love.

The colours and mood were then amplified by the use of the stationery. It was made of amazing handwritten calligraphy pieces by WILDFLOWERS CALLIGRAPHY, elegant and timeless with golden and black touches. Music was managed brilliantly by ROXY ROSE, that created a surreal romantic and timeless atmosphere during dinner in the cloister."
