Whilst many of you will be eagerly awaiting spring and warmer weather, if you're getting married in the fall now's the time to start gathering up all the beautiful inspiration for what is most definitely our favourite season for weddings! Captured by Seattle wedding photographer LANTING PHOTOGRAPHY this blush toned elopement shoot took place at FABERFARM, a location full of rustic chic and charm. Nestled in the heart of Skagit Valley, Washington, the history of FABERFARM began as a homestead in 1883 and continues to produce quality crops for the local community year after year. It has since grown beyond their humble beginnings to include a beautiful event space for both indoor and outdoor occasions. Set against the stunning views of the North Cascade mountain range, sweeping fields and glowing sunsets, it was the perfect scenic backdrop to a modern love story.

Floral design by OH MISS CHIC was based on a warm colour palette interspersed with locally foraged greenery. Arrangements were composed in an elegant yet uncomplicated style that wonderfully enhanced the beauty of this pastoral setting. The ceremony took place in a grassy field, under a copper arch cascading with flowers in hues of beige, terra-cotta, dusty rose, rust orange and hints of burgundy that complemented the surrounding wood structures and autumn foliage.

In curating the tablescape, the focus was on sourcing natural materials such as wood, metal, cotton, linen and ceramics to render a warm and earthy expression. In addition, OH MISS CHIC incorporated wooden beaded plate chargers, a velvet runner, dark marble taper candle holders, wooden tea-light candle holders, chestnut bistro chairs, and gold flatware. Refined accents sparkled harmoniously against elemental tones and textures, displaying just the right amount of lux in this farmhouse setting.

To bring in boho and modern styling references, the model wore a Joni gown by RIME ARODAKY from THE DRESS THEORY, a showcase of fierce femininity through its sheer lace, dot-and-tulle details; “Unashamedly sexy, but maintaining elegance and style”. Vintage rentals completed the rustic-chic design concept. All the vintage pieces including the crystal stemware, the bar cart for cocktails, gold rimmed mirror sign and the upholstered velvet chairs were sponsored by VINTAGE AMBIENCE.
