We love the idea of celebrating anniversaries at any stage of your relationship, whether it be just a couple of years or decades. In this case Jackie & Matt - photographers themselves - wanted to celebrate reaching two years of marriage by having a photo session with SAVAN PHOTOGRAPHY. A beautiful bouquet by NATIVE POPPY complemented the soft pastel tones of their outfits.
Savan tells us, "Jackie and Matt are two of the kindest high school sweethearts not to mention that they are also talented photographers of WHISKERS & WILLOW and I was honoured to commemorate their 2nd anniversary together with a photo session that included the beautiful Sunset Cliffs of San Diego and the warm water of the Pacific Ocean. A rare cloudy day in San Diego, but the cloud cover made their dreamy, airy pastel colours really pop. As their photographer, I wanted to capture their love through genuine moments, but in a fine art film photography way as well. It was also important to capture how they have grown together and have matured over the years, I wanted deep moments, yet still remain playful at the same time. To style their set, they chose classic fashion, his a pale blue linen suit and for Jackie a blush flowy dress that danced in the wind. I'm so happy to have captured their milestone of two sweet years of marriage together and to many many more years to come."
