So after a month away � and a few days of recovery thanks to picking up strep throat just as the FORAGE & FERN workshop began � I'm back into the swing of things!! Or getting there at least! We had an amazing time travelling through the beautiful states in New England � so many gorgeous and quaint little towns, and I completely fell in love with Nantucket which had been on my bucket list for years!! I have to say though that a month away from my pups was far too long� we were the crazy couple who sat at dinner each night looking over pictures of them! We're not alone in doing that right??
After the workshop I headed over to Carmel on the West Coast for the workshop and had the most amazing week with so many clever and creative people. Spending time amongst 30 people passionate about what they do and eager to learn was so incredibly inspiring and I'm thankful for the wonderful group of both vendors and attendees, and the new friendships created! Today I have the most gorgeous Italian wedding to share with you by MARANO VISION ART. When asked to sum up their day in three words the couple said, �Lively, musical, and passionate� and looking through these stunning images it is exactly that! Siena & Mathieu met through a mutual friend, and after a proposal under a Linden tree at Mathieu's countryside home, they set about planning a wedding that was inspired by the Sicilian funeral scene in the Godfather. �We want it to be sacred, ritualistic, and otherworldy. It turned out rather to have a feeling of magical debauchery- unexpected but totally enchanting.�
Siena wore a dress she had designed herself and carried a bouquet of wild and native Sicilian blooms and herbs. Can you imagine how fabulous it would be to have your friends serenade you as you walk out as husband and wife? Although as the couple cheekily say, this only works if you're friends are musicians!
