Katie and Ben's engagement session captured by Denver wedding photographer AMANDA BERUBE was curated to reflect their raw and authentic love for each, whilst being infused with the every day-to-day moments they find the most joy in. Amanda tells us, "Rather than focusing on traditional portraits, we centered the session on their most favourite point in their day. Their mornings! Warm, simple, relaxed; just simply waking up to each other in their beautiful and cozy bed.

We documented their quiet and serene moments while cuddled up in each other's brace. Followed by their walking hand and hand lovingly downs the stairs and into the kitchen to make breakfast and blueberry pancakes for each other. Award winning Chef and owner of the Four Diamond rated Epic restaurant, Jamie Keating, designed the beautiful breakfast the couple made and was behind the scenes overseeing and helping create their gorgeous and absolutely delicious blueberry pancakes.

Katie and Ben love to playing around in the kitchen, laughing and enjoying each others company, so we wanted to capture them in their most comfortable elements. They both shine very bright when around each other making their love very easy to see. For a touch of a more formal elegance, after their romantic breakfast, the couple then changed into a dashing suit and beautiful dress that complimented the gorgeous aesthetic of THE ILLGES HOUSE. It's undoubtedly obvious how in love Katie and Ben are and this stunning engagement session truly embodies that."

Wedding stationery designer SHOTGUNNING FOR LOVE created some beautiful menus to set the scene.
