The ivy-covered structure is what remains of the 1915 mansion located on the GOODSTONE INN property, which is situated in the heart of Virginia Wine Country. It made for a beautifully romantic backdrop to this rainy day elopement shoot by WEDDINGS BY HANA which was styled by SWEETLY SOUTHERN EVENTS.
Combining the natural stone and earthy tones with the late summer romance, this creative team designed a colour palette of soft mauve, blush, deep burgundy, muted green, and gold accents. Every detail was perfectly crafted to highlight the exquisite natural beauty this one of a kind location and the romantic feel of a late summer romance; from the hand-crafted stationery pieces from PEACH & PAPERIE down to the intricately designed cake from JISOO CAKE DESIGN.
For the table design, SWEETLY SOUTHERN EVENTS sprinkled fresh cut figs, blackberries, and raspberries on top of a wispy mauve runner than ran right down the middle of the Brentwood farm table - from SOMETHING VINTAGE. The Bloomington handmade plate set enhanced the rustic feel of the venue while the blush-toned glassware and simple gold flatware showcased a modern twist.
