We love the romance that European Castles convey and we can't imagine a lovelier spot to get married than on this lakeshore besides a castle. In fact Salzburg which isn't far from this spot is one of my very favourite places in the world! Photographer TONY GIGOV has been captivated by Fuschl Castle since he first laid eyes on it. With its unique location directly on the shore of Lake Fuschl and the clear green-blue water and green forests surrounding it, it makes for an unforgettable place to holiday or celebrate a special occasion.
Tony explains, "Originally this inspiration was planned as a elegant winter shoot, with snow and a winter wonderIand. I wanted to capture the elegance and presence of the castle and the beauty of its surroundings in a black, golden and white theme. But for the first time in a long time, snow was a rare sight at the lake. With an inspiring team of vendors to help brainstorm, plan and execute the idea I had, we decided to take our chances despite the lack of snow. It was an amazing day from start to finish; VERA LIPNIK did an amazing job designing everything with much love and an amazing eye for detail, EVELYN KÜHR created magic with the flowers, and we had gorgeous black and golden paper goods from NICNILLAS INK. A golden silk wedding gown by EVA POLESCHINSKI was paired with a lace bridal cape which matched the grandeur of the location perfectly. The team from HOTEL SCHLOSS FUSCHL supported us in all our ideas, and took special care of all our needs."
