Situated right on the cliff in Sorrento, VILLA ASTOR is said to be one of the most famous and beautiful mansions along the entire Amalfi coast. Envisioning a modern day Romeo & Juliet ZHENYA SWAN together with wedding planner WOW WEDDING worked with real couple Maria & Sasha for this fun-filled, romantic elopement shoot.
The tell us, "The Pantone 2020 colour is classic blue and to honour that we've capitalised on the surrounding nature - especially the colour of the sea to and utilised those tones. Strong winds resonated with the free spirit of Maria and Sasha and it was easy to work with them as the energy and their love for each other was just pouring out. Classic styles of both the decor and calligraphy - by BIBAMERLO - were kept in neutral tones and we featured two gowns from AURORA SALON - the first one was very airy and dreamy and could easy be a dress for Juliet herself, and the second one was more like a princess style dress with elegant details and open shoulders. We created this shoot to show off the beauty of the Italian coast combined with a story of young passionate love."
