Inspired by the jewel-like autumnal tones of the changing season, stylist and florist, DOMINIQUE FLOWERS, shows how to turn a casual country soiree into a dashing countryside affair with an air of elegance. With meandering gardens, heritage buildings, a magnificent Victorian ballroom covered in ivy and the rolling Southern Highland hills as a backdrop, SUMMERLEES ESTATE was the perfect location. The bride wore stunning gowns by CLAIRE PETTIBONE and WATTERS, styled with soft, natural hair and make-up and accessorised with a selection of the most lovely bridal hairpieces. Our groom wears an elegant tuxedo by New Zealand tailors, CRANE BROTHERS, topped off with a boutonniere to compliment the bride’s lush, bouquet of rose, dahlias, ranunculus, cosmos, Japanese wind flowers and fruit branches. The table florals in a palette of gold, peach, cream and pale pink, were styled with an abundance of local fruits, antique tableware, soft organic linens and handmade ombre chocolate to create the prettiest country wedding inspiration.
