Happy Monday everyone! I hope you've had a fabulous weekend! We had a lovely rainy Sunday which I actually relished in, and it was finally finally cool enough to put a sweater on - hooray for Autumn weather! Of course give it another month or so and I'll be dreaming of warm sunny days like the ones you see in todays wedding. Nothing beats a relaxed, beachy summer celebration as you can see from these beautiful images from TAURANGA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS BUBBLEROCK. Lou & Brad had been living away from New Zealand for a number of years which played a big part in how they wanted their wedding to be. Having missed the laid back, kiwi way of living they wanted to incorporate that into their day. Choosing to get married at Matarangi Beach at the top of the Coromandel, the bride wore a stunning ANNA CAMPBELL gown, and carried beautiful summery florals by ON MY HAND.

HOW DID YOU MEET? We met in Dubai through mutual friends, Brad was just passing through on a quick stopover but we both knew it was special straight away. After a few dates and a few postponed flights he ended up going back to NZ to get the rest of his things before moving back to Dubai permanently!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: Brad has a long time love of all things Africa and always talked about taking me there, so while I was away for work, he planned a gorgeous trip to Kenya where he proposed after a safari in the Masai Mara.

ANY DIY ELEMENTS? Yes! We made the altar, tepee and hanging photo frame from driftwood on the beach, and the lace on the tepee and altar was actually net curtains from Ikea! The hubby and I also sewed together 100m of white & gold bunting - it took absolutely forever, but we loved it on the day.

DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING FLOWERS: The flowers were a real highlight for me. Shaye and her team at ON MY HAND did an incredible job creating wild romantic florals for us, and I love the giant Caf

How fun are these teal stripey dresses for beach bridesmaids?

TELL US ABOUT FINDING YOUR WEDDING DRESS: As soon as I saw Anna Campbell's dresses online I knew that I loved them but had no idea how I was going to get to Melbourne to try one on! Thankfully they had a stockist in London (much closer!). The Eden dress was the third dress I tried on and I was so happy with it I paid the deposit then and there... The staff in the shop were a bit shocked about my snap decision making!

FAVOURITE DETAIL OF THE DAY: The place cards were a big hit! Oh and the make your own ice cream sundae for desert - we had trays of toppings on each table and everyone was served individual ice cream in sundae bowls to cover in their choice of 12 different toppings - very indulgent.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OUT TO A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? Make sure that you hire the right vendors that you click with. All of our team were such crazy talented lovely people and did such an amazing job making the day super enjoyable for us.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT? It really was the whole day - having everyone together from all over NZ (and the world!) meant so much, and everyone danced all night long to the mixture of music - it was wonderful.
