Lauren and Barron's portrait session took place near Carmel-by-the-Sea (one of my favourite spots in the US!), not far from where their wedding would be held at Pebble Beach along 17-mile drive. This location is the epitome of the Northern California Coast, with striking geological features, large boulders, open water, and cypress trees and San Francisco wedding photographer JANINE LICARE made the most of the beautiful backdrop. She tells us, "Lauren and Barron live in Texas although she's originally from Northern California, so doing these portraits on the coast felt like a special way for them to have photos together not far from her hometown."

Originally from Connecticut, Janine moved to Costa Rica when she was 4 years old and grew up in the middle of the jungle. At the age of 9, she co-founded a non-profit organisation to help save the rainforest (check it out here). When she was 11, her parents gave her her first film camera and she immediately fell in love.
