We can't argue with KATLYN MARIE PHOTOART when she says that sunsets are one of the most beautiful sights we can take in. Each one is different and they offer up magical light to finish the day as is so finely displayed in this engagement shoot. Katlyn says, "Photographers love sunset light, and everyone loves the photos a pretty sunset can provide. It is the perfect backdrop. I am always seeking out the perfect golden light, and wanted to create a session that specifically complimented a coastal sunset. All the pinks, blues, and purples streaking across the sky and reflecting on the water is exactly what inspired this engagement session. Melissa's dresses were a pastel blue and a dusty pink. The beautiful floral arrangement by BRANCHES & VINE complemented her dresses and the coastal colours perfectly!
We arrived at Hug Point near Cannon Beach, OR hoping for a perfect day and clear skies, and that's exactly what we got! Everything worked out so beautifully, and by the end of the evening we got to see a breathtaking cotton candy sky, just as we were hoping. To top it all off, Melissa and James have the sweetest and most playful love that is evident in every photograph!"
