It had been several years since Allison & Flip had photos taken of themselves so they turned to Northern California wedding photographer KELLI LYNN to capture these images in the countryside surrounding their Bay area home. They headed to CASTELLO DI AMOROSA - a 13th century style castle that looks like its straight from the hills of Italy - and took advantage of its stunning grounds and gardens.
Kelli tells us, "Allison & Flip's love story began in their home town of Ohio. At the age of 20 & 22, Allison & Flip tied the knot on a warm November day. They have been married almost 7 years this fall! I actually had the honour of being in their wedding so long ago, so photographing their anniversary session was extra special. As fate would have it, we found ourselves all living in the Bay Area of California at the same time. After having grown up 20 minutes from each other, we were again neighbours!
Allison & Flip chose clothes that reflect their personalities & style. The yellows and neutral colours blended well with the stone architecture of the castle, as well with the green countryside. The light the day of the shoot was beyond gorgeous. We were able to take images outside the castle, then proceed to explore the inside portion of the castle and tasting room, then finish with sunset photos outside! The entire session was a dream!"
