This stunning destination wedding by CHLOE LUKA PHOTOGRAPHY was a perfect blend of culture, tradition and love. Close friends and family flew from all around the world to celebrate this couples wedding in the heart of Florence, Italy with a full weekend of activities.

Friday's Mehndi ceremony paid tribute to the groom's family, and the PALAZZO SAN NICCOLO was transformed for a day full of henna, choreographed dancing and the groom's entrance on an Italian white horse (a Vespa!) The henna artist was brought in from Milan, and offered henna services for every guest in attendance in the outdoor courtyard. The bride wore her mother's dress, paired with sparkly Jimmy Choo's as a perfect blend of heritage and contemporary style.

Situated one street away from the historic Ponte Vecchio, the venue for the Mehndi not only gave guests the perfect location to explore all that Florence had to offer, but was also the perfect size for the Mehndi events. This was the PALAZZO SAN NICCOLO'S first wedding, and they did an incredible job of hosting the entire wedding party.

The following day the guests were transported to a villa in Tuscany, that traces its history back to the Medici family. The 16th century frescos, groves of olive trees and historical architecture were some of my favourite parts of the venue, making it truly breathtaking. The ceremony took place outside of Villa Medicea di Lilliano with the rolling hills of Tuscany as the backdrop. The bride wore a stunning white dress, paired with a different set of Jimmy Choo's, and chose to accent her look with a cathedral veil that featured floral appliques. She walked down the aisle to the music of a string quartet, and the vows were exchanged as the sun began to set.

They continued the celebration with an indoor reception designed by ALESSIA B EVENTS under a sea of fairy lights, hanging floral installations and exposed bulbs. The guests enjoyed a three-course dinner of seafood soup, pasta and filet mignon, paired with wine from the Villa. After the heartfelt speeches and the cannoli cake were cut, the guests transitioned to the second half of the room to dance the night away with GB Audio! The quaint gelato cart in the courtyard was the perfect sweet treat to end the night.
