We're injecting some colour into our lives this morning with this vibrant and lively shoot at FILOLI GARDENS from AMANDA CREAN PHOTOGRAPHERS. Starting with a palette of moody tones paired with softer romantic hues, planner and designer BUSTLE EVENTS met with Victoria from DESIGN HOUSE OF MOIRA. Letting her run wild, she created the most unique and beautiful folio-style invitations complete with her own original hand-painted floral design.
With the invitations setting the stage, the tables were designed with pieces from THE ARK which brought more layers of texture to the table. Beginning with detailed white linen, oyster shell inspired plates, detailed brass flatware tying an old-world feel with tall thin glassware. The golden-hued velvet napkins brought a softness to the table and each place-setting was topped with the beautiful original menus incorporating the same floral watercolour design as the invitation suite. The florals by AMANDA VIDMAR DESIGN were full of lush and interesting varieties with a plethora of texture including - spirea, ranunculus, sweet pea, chocolate cosmos for depth, and very unique tulips for a sweet touch.
The ceremony was in an original place for FILOLI, in front of the steps of the iconic historical house. AMANDA VIDMAR added blooming branches of cherry and crabapple, fritillaria, tulips, roses floral to the columns to enhance the already stunning porch and create a more dramatic formal point. Cocktail hour around the sunken garden allowed guests to wander, enjoying cocktails and tasty hors d’oeuvres by the impeccable PAULA LE DUC FINE CATERING & EVENTS.
