The reason we feature editorials (or styled shoots as you may know them as) as well as real weddings, is because they give you brides 'food for thought', so to speak. Sure sometimes ideas may seem a little 'out there', but that occurs in the fashion world all the time, and the average person then adapts those ideas to something a little more appropriate to every day life. The same goes for the ideas presented to you in the shoots we feature. Sometimes it may simply be the floral arrangement that grabs you, other times you'll see table design ideas that you can take ideas from and turn them into something that works for your venue or your colour palette.

Today's feature from NATALIE BRAY was about translating a winter feel into a minimalist aesthetic combined with a romantic feel. Being from California she doesn't get to experience true winter weddings so it was a bit of a novelty. NATIVE POPPY created some beautiful florals in tones of warm cream, gold and grey that were real showpieces of the design.

Natalie tells us more; "La Tavola velvet was our starting point and the cream velvet grounded the inspiration and reminded me of newly fallen snow. We then brought in golden glowing candles to show warmth, marble to show weight and depth, plus gorgeous crystal adding a feminine romance.

I fell in love with the matte grey plate collection at Hostess Haven paired with gold cutlery. Again, minimal and romantic. SHASTA BELL CALLIGRAPHY created the most stunning paper goods and our model was stunning and just glowed with a floral accent and CHRISTOS COSTARELLOS gown from THE DRESS THEORY.
