Happy Monday � and happy first of December can you believe? 24 days until Christmas � yikes!! We're starting off the week with some fine local talents who collaborated on this pretty green and white bohemian inspiration, led by QIANE and Mel from ALL THE FRILLS.
QIANE tells us, �Inspired by boho-lace, this shoot took place at Villa Maria Estate's vineyard in Auckland on one of the stormiest days in early spring. You wouldn't believe it but only ten minutes drive away the sky was black, the rain was heavy and the wind was hitting the earth in gusts. But, for some reason, a patch of blue sky remained over the vineyard and we managed the entire shoot without the skies giving way. I had been thinking about a boho-lace shoot for a while; I'm a bit of a barefoot gypsy at heart and I wanted to put together some inspiration for those who wanted a relaxed wedding style with bits of bohemian-flavoured detailing. Mel had the macrame backdrop and dream catcher made specially, and the hanging chair was just so dreamy.
We had two dresses and a veil from Elizabeth at A La Robe and Toni at Frosting made our naked layer cake. Melissa and Sam from The Spot took care of hair and make up and our lovely real life couple, Ethan and Daytona, were fabulously in love.�
