With this poetic Château Wedding editorial in the fine vineyards of Burgundy, Paris wedding photographer ZEPHYR PHOTOGRAPHY wanted to create the atmosphere of a modern fairytale in this fantastic location and immerse future couples in a delicate and enchanted world. The timeless design by CHER AMOUR EVENTS was inspired by the Château itself and the greenery of the surrounding vineyards, with a colour palette of different shades of blues and cream with a fresh hint of peach that blended perfectly together and created a luminous and fresh atmosphere.
Camille of CHER AMOUR EVENTS tells us, "When I visited the CHÂTEAU DE PIERRECLOS for the first time, I immediately fell in love with its Burgundian charm and its glazed, multi-colour roofs, typical of the local architecture. As soon as you enter, you are immediately anchored in the French history, taking a step back through time and discovering the historical heritage through its architecture that has crossed the ages, back to the tenth century.
This magical day began way before the wedding day itself, with the wedding stationery suite designed by BONJOUR PAPER. She crafted unique paper products, with an illustration of the Château and a custom monogram. The stationery transported the guests to France as soon as they opened their invitation.
The floral arch by LA BLONDE ET LE BARBU stood out in front of the golden gate and the ancient architecture to create a ceremony from another time. With different shades of blue to add depth, it provided a magical backdrop for the bride and her alluring dress. From the ceremony set-up to the table setting, the florals were in perfect harmony with the romantic atmosphere. The bridal bouquet was airy yet voluminous with a hint of peach and yellow to bring freshness.
The intimate dinner was held on the south terrace of the Château with its magical view on the surrounding vineyards. I played with the textures to give a feeling of lightness and went for dusty blue shades and golden touches to perfectly blend with the light of the location. The menu with a dusty blue bow and the creamy and blue chairs added to the timeless design."
Camille continues; "For this romantic day, I selected a GALIA LAHAV wedding dress with an off-the-shoulder lace corset ballgown with gorgeous details, accessorised with magnificent earrings from JONIDA RIPANI. It was the perfect addition to the romantic scene.
The story began with a wild horse, entering the castle and heading straight for the south terrace, as if it knew who was waiting. With a simple look, the bride charmed the horse and it softened and came closer. It was a perfect instant of purity and love. They shared an intense moment like they were reunited and had known each other forever. Then the bride moved to the ceremony to fully enjoy a moment of freedom while dancing and touching the flowers. These poetic moments were captured by the videographer ANDRÉ SCHLECHTE.
The bride changed into her alluring second wedding dress from BERTA, that brought a more glamour and modern look for the evening. With a glamourous make-up signed by KARINE BROSSARD and her BELLA BELLE SHOES, she took a moment to admire the breathtaking view of the fine vineyard surrounding the Château and enjoyed a glass of wine. The floral-adorned Wine Bar highlighted well-known wines from the property, perfect for the occasion. From the beautiful Wine Bar to the Michelin-starred Chef Bernard Loiseau’s menu, it was all about sharing French delicacies. As you already know, Burgundy is a major wine region in France, so it was really important to us to redefine the classic wedding cocktail bar, especially since the chateau has a family-owned winery."
