The colours in this shoot are reminding me of a Spanish or Portuguese village... I can almost hear the music playing in the background! That's one of my favourite things about photography; it has the power to transport you completely. Whether it be to a different part of the world, or back to your wedding day it's so important to have these images in order to recall the riches we've lived. COURTNEY WOODHAM PHOTOGRAPHY collaborated with BY BOW EVENT DESIGN in creating this delicate, European inspired bridal shoot.

Courtney shares with us, "Each time I visit my friends at their residential loft, I feel as though I am walking into an art gallery. From the illuminating natural light that fills the room to the Italian Murano glass chandelier and impeccable tableware that openly lines the shelves, every detail of their home generates limitless inspiration, giving life to this vision of delicacy and grace and a new approach to bridal portraits.

Using what nature left through winter, the skeleton of hydrangea added subtle texture and a bouquet devoid of flowers yet lavish with Queen Anne’s Lace held rich tones of mocha, greens, whites, and creams. Embracing the natural elements and an old world, European feel, the dusty neutrals carried throughout the glassware and handmade, hand dyed napkins. The bride’s exquisite, vintage earrings perfectly complimented her gown, adorned with high collar, bell shape sleeves, and intricate lacework.
