Whilst visiting the north of Italy for a wedding, from their home in Germany, Katya & Andrey decided to capitalise on the beautiful Italian vistas and had ANNA ZABRODINA capture these gorgeous photos of them. Styled by FLEURS DE RÊVE it takes place at sunset in the beautiful gardens of the GRAND HOTEL DES ILES BORROMEES and on the shores of Lake Maggiore.
"We could not have dreamed that we'd have the opportunity to do a photo session in such a historic and beautiful place as the GRAND HOTEL DES ILES BORROMEES. The hotel is located on the shores of Lake Maggiore, opposite the Borromean Islands, a five minute walk from the center of Stresa. The hotel, built in the style of the Belle Époque palace in 1861, faces the lake and is surrounded by a magnificent park. The guest book is a chronicle of the stay in the hotel of many famous personalities of modern history. Members of royal families, famous writers and politicians have stayed here. Once you're inside, you find yourself in an atmosphere of genuine luxury. The interiors of the hotel amaze with refinement and magnificence: intricate painting on the walls, intricate stucco, colourful mosaics and Murano glass.
We were inspired by the north of Italy, its lakes and architecture and the hotel itself was incredible. I took several shots in a lush green garden, as well as several memorable shots in the stunning interior of the hotel. When the sun went down, we moved closer to the water and to show what a beautiful promenade the town of Stresa has. Andrey and Kate were so romantic that evening, and the chemistry between them helped make the photos even more beautiful and real."
