Inspired by the tones and textures of the ocean, this shoot by Southern California wedding photographer JESSICA JACCARINO is in the most serene coastal colour palette. Captured at THE HARPER in Orange County, it pairs marine blues and greens with neutral textures and features florals by NOT JUST IN NOVELS. Stylist LAUREL STREET EVENTS created a design forward tabletop which allowed for an appealing and contemporary modern romance composition.

She tells us more about her inspiration; "The flower inspiration was created with a spray of romance and sophistication whilst keeping the textures and colours of the sea abundant. We wanted to create a unique ceremony area that was not too grounded. Our modern table-scape offered hints of sea grass, pops of whites and textures from the rocks and oyster shells. Menus were artfully crafted by watercolour on handmade paper and placed on a refined city coupe plate. Our models brought their sense of glamour and friendship to embrace the elegance of the scene, wearing BHLDN, whisper blue designs. The bride wore a sophisticated slim fit dress with a beautiful lace cape while changing into more of a party dress for dancing in the evening. The dessert table held three cakes, all which were inspired by the rocky shores of the ocean, the marine palette and the softness of a wave’s crest. Bud vases held delicate florals to complement the desserts and provide a hint of pretty. Overall the shoot aims to bring together a fresh pairing of modern, coastal elegance with a fine art, design forward wedding inspiration to capture a stylish coastal sophistication inspired by the sea."
