Although 2020 wasn't the most ideal for anyone and lets face it 2021 is still an uphill battle in many respects, for North Carolina wedding photographer LINDLEY BATTLE it was so special to see Meta Kate and Jay stay constantly enthusiastic and positive, despite the many changes that their wedding planning had to endure. The couple had originally planned for a grand and elegant celebration at The Millennium Center in downtown Winston-Salem, but ended up having a timeless and classic small wedding at THE KIMPTON CARDINAL HOTEL. Although so many pieces of their wedding day didn't go as originally planned, the love and joy shared by the bride and groom and their guests was palpable throughout the entire day. Jay and Meta Kate met in Sunday School when they were four years old, and many years later, Jay proposed on Christmas Eve at the Old Salem bridge - one of Meta Kate's favourite places and one of their frequent stops on downtown walks. Their incredible love for each other infused every single moment of this gorgeous wedding, and shines through in every one of their photos.
