Inspired by the charm of Sorrento and “La Dolce Vita”, Lake Como wedding photographer FABRIZIO VIGANÒ worked with planner CATERINA LOSTIA EVENTS to create this stunning editorial. Dominating the Bay of Naples in the charming town of Sorrento, with spectacular views of Mount Vesuvius, VILLA ASTOR is a paradise of art, beauty and architecture. The team created a modern fairytale wedding weekend story inspired by the late 1950s “Dolce Vita” throughout the Villa and culminated in a candlelit wedding dinner.

Caterina dreamt of translating the “La Dolce Vita” lifestyle and mood into an editorial with Southern Italy vibes, a masterpiece of a dress by Italian designer IRIS NOBLE, vibrant colours, stunning floral design, prosecco, and more.

FABRIZIO VIGANÒ together with CARLA PENONCELLI teamed up to combine a chic pre-wedding shoot in the exquisite gardens, with a soft and dreamy wedding day look. The gown with a straight-cut bodice in vintage lace and three-tiered skirt in pleated tulle added a soft feminine touch to the look.

Caterina, along with FLÒ DESIGN, created a gorgeous table setting with crystal chandeliers, delicate flowers, vintage candlesticks, and porcelain perfectly suited to the surrounding lush nature. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime venue for your destination wedding, look no further than VILLA ASTOR and this wonderfully talented team of creatives!
