Northern California wedding photographers THE GANEYS were so excited to finally meet Molly & Sid during their Discovery Park engagement session. Emily tells us, "They reached out about their wedding last December, so for months we were looking forward to this day. We had to be patient, as Seattle’s weather isn’t necessarily always ideal. Even the day of the session, we pulled an audible and decided to reschedule for the next day when clouds and rainstorms appeared on the radar out of nowhere, and I’m so glad we did! This session was a dream! The weather was perfect – it wasn’t windy – it was a comfortable temperature – these two had amazing chemistry – their outfits were so cute – the locations were gorgeous!"

Molly and Sid met on their first day of college at University of Denver. Even though they met that first day, they didn’t start dating until the end of senior year. After some long distance, they both ended up in Seattle to pursue their careers. Emily continues, "To start off the day, we took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island to scout their wedding venue, the Seattle Country Club. We made the most of our ferry ride and took some photos on the balcony as we watched Seattle fade into the distance. On Bainbridge Island, we walked the property where they will be getting married – almost exactly one year away. The area is very important to Sid and his family – and is even the spot where Molly and Sid got engaged last September. For the majority of their session, we headed to the beautiful and diverse Discovery Park. The light was just perfect as the sun set over Puget Sound.
