Set amongst the beautiful trees dripping with Spanish Moss, this editorial - as seen in MAGNOLIA ROUGE MAGAZINE - by North Carolina wedding photographer LANCE NICOLL transports us back to a bygone era. Stylist KALEB NORMAN-JONES tells us, "When I think of the South, I think of massive oak trees drooping with Spanish moss, lining a dramatically long driveway. To me, the ultimate take on Southern hospitality would be a long, singular row of tables full with the finest china and glittering candles. This was the inspiration behind this shoot, to embrace the Southern charm and create a table filled with layered place settings and lush florals and to ensure even the smallest details were thought through, from the engraved stemware, to the custom silhouette place cards, to the hand-tied menu booklets.

The colour direction was set with a mix of unexpected tones through soft pastels and bold pops of crimson red. The overall feeling was meant to stay true to the original time period of the estate, with the drama of the full formal gowns and the richness of the velvet tuxedo jacket all evoking a feeling of sophistication, while still feeling unique and current."
