When Ali & Sam reached out about their destination wedding at MONTAGE PALMETTO BLUFF, Charleston wedding photographer ELIZABETH LANIER was instantly excited about their weekend! Sam is an award-winning musician with Childish Gambino and he and Ali knew they wanted anything but the typical traditional wedding. They planned an intimate weekend and flew their closest friends and family in from across the country to PALMETTO BLUFF. The weekend consisted of golfing, spa days, and boating on the May River.
For the wedding day fashion, Ali stunned in her custom VIVIENNE WESTWOOD wedding gown paired with chic hair and makeup by MEG MCMILLION BEAUTY. For the ceremony, they opted for something a little different and hosted their wedding and reception at Moreland Landing. HARVEY DESIGNS created a floral-lined ceremony aisle that led to their chuppa. Ali and Sam wrote their own wedding vows and kept each other and their guests laughing through the heartwarming ceremony. After the ceremony, they hosted dinner and dancing under the stars.
