Shoots don't come much prettier that this spring almond blossom session by Ivo & Vanessa from Momento Cativo. Based in Portugal this talented team have put together some stunning inspiration in amongst the most gorgeous almond tree orchard! I'll let them tell the story behind it since they do it so well!
�Legend tells us that centuries ago, in the days of the old kingdoms, here lived a beautiful foreign princess named Gilda, who had won the heart of King Ibn-Almundim. Sadly, Gilda's love for the king wasn't enough to make her forget how much she missed her distant snow covered kingdom. The King, determined to mend his lover's heart and make her feel at home, ordered almond trees to be planted and grown all over his kingdom, so that whenever Spring arrived, by looking through her window, the blossoming of the almond trees would create the perfect illusion of snow covered fields.
It is in February, quite fittingly the lovers month, that the same beautiful blossoming can still be seen in what is now "Tr s-os-Montes�, in northern Portugal. Olivia and David are the characters of our delicate, romantic and fairy tale love. With careful choices in space and decoration elements, we suggest a wedding in complete harmony with nature and befitting of this unique landscape. Natural colors and textures in a rustic environment yet elegant in every detail. An idyllic setting lovingly planned by those committed to this project.�
