Elizabeth & Tucker wanted a classic Napa Valley wedding that had a modern yet relaxed vibe. As the first wedding held at a new venue STANLY RANCH, they kept the decor simple and in neutral colours to help highlight the beautiful vineyards and setting. Northern California wedding photographers THE GANEYS captured these beautiful photos of their day.

HOW DID YOU MEET? We met in business school as first year students together in 2015 and Tucker surprised me with a proposal in Seattle in 2019 during a walk along the beach.

TELL US ABOUT FINDING YOUR WEDDING DRESS/ATTIRE: I found my dress at a local boutique in Boston. I tried on many dresses before but immediately knew this was the one after trying it on.

DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING FLOWERS: Simple, elegant, with a few rustic touches.

FAVOURITE DETAIL OF THE DAY: We loved the setting where we got married, under an infinity sculpture overlooking the vineyards of Carneros which is our home,

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OUT TO A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? Pick a setting, location, and theme that feels natural and natural to what you love as a couple. We also tried to not stress about making sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and just tried to enjoy the moment and getting to see all our favourite people together.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT? Our favourite memories are dancing with friends and family after the ceremony and getting to select and pour some of our favourite wines that were all special and meaningful to us with our guests

WHAT ASPECT OF THE WEDDING WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU BOTH? We wanted our guests to have fun with a great band and also be able to showcase an area we love with friends and family.

ANY OTHER DETAILS THAT HELP TELL THE STORY OF YOUR DAY? From the photographer - "Elizabeth and Tucker’s wedding was highly anticipated. These two were so patient throughout the pandemic – changing their date three times – and having to switch venues after a devastating fire. By the time May 2022 rolled around, the brand new Stanly Ranch resort had opened and everyone was so excited to finally celebrate with these two! The got married there, just three weeks after it opened. Their ceremony was held on Infinity Hill – the first ceremony to take place at this location since Stanly Ranch opened. All of the guests enjoyed the experience of walking up the circular path up to the platform. It was a meditative experience. The views from the ceremony site were breathtaking. And of course, there is symbolism in exchanging wedding vows under an infinity sculpture. This is a love that will last indefinitely."

TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR HONEYMOON: We are currently on our honeymoon in France, starting with Burgundy, traveling through Provence, and ending the trip in St Tropez on the coast of France.

IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD CHANGE OR DO DIFFERENTLY? Everything was perfect, we wouldn’t change a thing!
