Eloping in Scotland sounds like a dream to me! From the moody landscapes to the old stone walls and buildings, not to mention the castles, it's a photographers paradise. When Utah wedding photographer TYLER RYE was planning the shoots for his first Scotland Expedition (an Adventure Elopement Workshop), he knew he wanted to do something with a more editorial look and to ensure the images had a truly Scottish feel to them. He tells us, "My goal was to make the viewer feel like they had visited Scotland and got to explore the Highlands. GLEN DESSARY was the perfect venue for this shoot. The Estate sits on 15,000 acres of protected land, which meant we could shoot in literally any direction and see nothing but stunning Scottish highlands! Shooting there was really a dream. There is just something surreal about the Highlands. I don't know if its a mix of the rugged mountains, the rustic colour pallete of the fact that you might turn around and see a giant stag! Scotland is one of my favourite countries and I think it's the perfect place for an Engagement session or Elopement. I can't wait to get back there this coming October for the next Scotland Expedition."

A huge thank-you to Utah wedding photographer TYLER RYE for sharing this stunning Moroccan elopement with us. Tyler loves to take couples out away from the city where they can truly be alone and express their love with few distractions! We're delighted to have him as part of our vendor guide.
