Palm trees, glistening seas, lustrous colours… it you think this sounds like paradise you’d be right! Southern California wedding photographer STEVE TORRES travelled to Phuket in Thailand and collaborated with local planner & stylist THE WEDDING BLISS THAILAND on this elopement inspiration captured at THE SURIN PHUKET.
“We wanted to share a perspective on how one fleeting moment can change your whole life, how a holiday romance can turn into a strong and beautiful love story. Our story found its height in an intimate elopement on a beautiful coastline of Phuket. Can there be a more ideal way to celebrate your love than to spend the whole day together? Turning the getting ready time into your own intimate moment: helping to zip her dress, fixing his hair tenderly… something that only two can share.
They set out for the beach, bathing in beautiful golden light. Flowers in melon, persimmon, coral tones are catching the lights and glowing against the natural background. We opted for these sunny colours to reflect on the tropical setting around, yet maintain the soft look. Vows said to each other as the sun sets behind the cliff. Romantic dinner set on the private beach waiting. This is what real luxury is: sharing these fleeting moments of love and laughter, deep, sincere emotions.”
SENIMAN CALLIGRAPHY created an invitation suite with gold calligraphy on hand torn paper and combined with dusky pinks to add elegance to the beach affair. Vibrant florals by I AM FLOWER were a nod to the tropical surroundings.
