Megan and Wyatt’s wedding at THE FARM AT OLD EDWARDS INN was a thoughtful study in classic elegance, shaped by intention, tradition, and an appreciation for details that endure. Planned with the guidance of Lindsi of PINNACLE EVENTS and beautifully captured by KAILEE DIMEGLIO, the day felt polished yet welcoming — the kind of celebration where every design choice felt considered, but never overworked.
From the very beginning, Megan knew the palette would reflect the colors she and Wyatt naturally gravitate toward. Lush greens, soft blues, and warm cream tones set the foundation, creating a look that felt serene, elevated, and perfectly suited to the Highlands setting. While “classic” and “timeless” were guiding words throughout the planning process, the vision allowed room for modern touches — subtle moments of trend layered into a design that will feel just as beautiful decades from now.
An Intimate Proposal, Right at Home
The couple’s journey to the altar began quietly and meaningfully — just as Megan had hoped. Knowing she wanted the proposal to be intimate, Wyatt surprised her one evening by suggesting dinner at their favorite restaurant, District Table. Suspicious already (reservations weren’t exactly his style), Megan was completely caught off guard when he asked her to marry him in the kitchen of their home, surrounded by their three dogs, Rona, Onyx, and Remi.
It was heartfelt, personal, and entirely them. That evening was spent celebrating over dinner and drinks, with even more festivities to follow just days later in the Dominican Republic with family — the beginning of what Megan describes as a season of celebration they’ll always cherish.

A Bride’s Dress, Designed to Be “The One”
Finding the perfect gown was a journey, but one that ultimately led Megan exactly where she needed to be. While traveling to Highlands to visit their venue, she and her mother stopped at ANNE BARGE in Atlanta — and everything changed. After visiting countless bridal boutiques, Megan finally found a gown that felt unmistakably “her.”
The strapless A-line silhouette featured a silk floral design cascading softly down the dress, striking the perfect balance between romance and refinement. Custom details, including buttons down the back and a bow crafted from the same fabric, elevated the look even further. Classic, timeless, and deeply personal, the gown embodied everything Megan had imagined — and more.
Thoughtful Fashion for the Entire Wedding Party
The wedding party’s attire echoed the day’s cohesive palette and classic sensibility. Bridesmaids wore soft, light blue satin gowns from DESSY GROUP, each selecting a silhouette that suited them best while maintaining a beautifully unified look.
Wyatt complemented the aesthetic in a timeless black tuxedo from INDOCHINO, personalized with his initials stitched inside the shirt and a light blue floral satin lining within the jacket — a subtle nod to the wedding colors that added a personal finishing touch.

Florals That Felt Like a Fairytale
Florals were one of the most anticipated design elements for Megan, and STATICE EVENT DESIGN delivered beyond expectation. From the moment Megan shared her vision, florist Suzie instinctively understood the balance of lushness, romance, and structure the couple was hoping to achieve.
On the wedding day, dramatic urn arrangements framed the ceremony, while the reception featured a breathtaking floral-covered chandelier that transformed the space into something truly magical. Soft blues, whites, and fresh greenery created movement and depth throughout, bringing the entire design story together in a way that felt immersive and unforgettable.
Layered Details & Paper Goods with Personality
Pattern and texture played an important role in the overall design, woven thoughtfully through linens and tabletop details. Blue patterned fabrics from STRADLEY DAVIDSON dressed the head table and select guest tables, while blue-and-white floral napkins added another playful yet refined layer to the remaining settings. A white floral linen grounded the cake table, allowing the surrounding details to shine.
The wedding paper goods, designed by GABRIELLE WILSON DESIGNS, tied everything together seamlessly. From the blue-and-green invitation suite to round menus, colorful table numbers, linen-inspired cocktail napkins, monogrammed drink stirrers, and custom matchbooks, each piece reinforced the wedding’s cohesive aesthetic and elevated the guest experience.

Together, the couple and their families carefully selected readings and vows, crafting a ceremony that felt deeply personal and entirely their own.

A Culinary Experience Worth Celebrating
Food and drink were especially important to Megan, Wyatt, and her parents, and OLD EDWARDS EVENTS curated an experience that delighted from start to finish. Cocktail hour featured passed hors d’oeuvres and light wines, including creamy roasted tomato soup with mini grilled pimento cheese sandwiches and brie-and-pear phyllo bites.
As the reception began, guests enjoyed appetizers like bacon-wrapped scallops before moving through an interactive dinner experience. Stations featured farm-fresh salads, herb-crusted beef tenderloin, and a truffled macaroni and cheese station — tossed tableside in a parmesan wheel — ensuring there was something memorable for everyone.
A Ceremony Filled with Meaning
Perhaps the most meaningful moment of the day came during the ceremony, officiated by Wyatt’s father. Together, the couple and their families carefully selected readings and vows, crafting a ceremony that felt deeply personal and entirely their own.
A string trio from OPAL STRING QUARTET set a timeless tone, underscoring the emotion of the moment as Megan and Wyatt exchanged vows surrounded by loved ones — a reflection of the intention and heart woven throughout the entire day.

Sentimental Touches That Told a Family Story
Personal details added layers of emotion throughout the celebration. The mother of the bride wore a dress once worn by Megan’s grandmother at her parents’ wedding in 1997 — a beautiful tribute following her passing in 2023. Preserved in near-perfect condition, the dress carried family history forward in the most meaningful way.
Megan also wore a cherished aquamarine ring gifted to her by her grandmother before she passed, perfectly echoing the wedding palette and serving as a tangible reminder of love and legacy. Throughout the planning process, Megan’s parents — especially her mother — were instrumental, offering support, creativity, and heart every step of the way.
A Celebration Designed to Last
Megan and Wyatt’s wedding was more than a beautiful day — it was a reflection of who they are, what they value, and the people who helped shape their story. Classic without feeling formal, refined yet full of warmth, it was a celebration designed to be remembered — both in photographs and in feeling — for years to come.
