Chooch and his groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos paired with boots, while Chooch’s Rod Patrick boots — chosen during a memorable trip to Fort Worth — added a personal detail to his wedding day look.

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed with classic Southern flavors and relaxed hospitality. Mint juleps, beer, and wine were served alongside passed appetizers including mini meat pies, boudin-wrapped wontons with cracklings and Steen’s syrup, and beef tenderloin crostini with caramelized onions — the perfect introduction to the evening ahead.

Entertainment played a central role in the celebration. The PARADE ROUTE Band kept the dance floor full all evening, while a harpist provided elegant music during the ceremony and Hailey Brooke set the tone for happy hour.

The reception took place back at Shelby’s childhood home, where guests enjoyed Southern favorites from Maison Louisiane including brisket, chicken and waffles, gumbo, grits, and a full macaroni and cheese station. Espresso martinis from a coffee bar, late-night sliders and fries, and playful touches like CO₂ guns on the dance floor kept the energy high well into the evening.
