Oh take us away to the South of France! This simply charming styled shoot captured by WHITNEY HEARD PHOTOGRAPHY took place at a historic fifteenth century venue sitting at the foot of the Alpilles: Le Mas des Comtes de Provence.
Surrounded by peaceful garden paths and heaping vines dancing up the stone staircase, the backdrop was perfectly attuned for a country holiday or a private elopement. Our expert stylists in both beauty and attire echoed this powerful, polished, simplicity with our couple. CAMILLE BONARDI'S subtle approach to makeup brought light to the bride’s soft features and a dash of rose at her lips served as a subtle nod to the warmth of Spring. LES TROIS SŒURS dressed our bride in an ANNA KARA design – a sleeveless gown with a plain silhouette, pulling interest to the ruched sheer back and delicate lace trimmed below the bodice.
An intimate tablescape was carefully arranged by WANDERLUST WEDDING, using calm colours and pieces that played into the cool stone architecture of residence. Wide, whimsical calligraphy that mimicked watercolour strokes provided room to breathe in the invitation suite and menus designed by NICE PLUME.
D'AMOUR ET DE DECO created a bountiful bouquet from muted greens and natural foliage embraced by flowing silk ribbon and dotted with gray brunia. Of course, our bouquet was not a prop held aimlessly. Rather, when artistically posed it contributed effortlessly to the serene and organic composure of this styled shoot.
